Elite Guide
The PinPoint Elite Wind Guide gives you the ability to calculate the impact the wind can have on your golf ball whilst in flight. It shows you how the distance of your shot can change and takes the guess-work out of playing in difficult wind conditions.
The guide has been produced using an average of top amateurs’ ball striking data. For example, ball speed, launch angle, spin etc.
The guide covers data for all distances from 130 yards to 275 yards, in 5 yard increments and wind speeds from 5 mph up to 30 mph. All distances have been calculated using average summer temperatures, humidity and zero altitude.
The Elite Guide is the most comprehensive and detailed generic guide and will provide information previously not available giving you the opportunity to hit more accurate distances, lower your proximity to the hole statistics and hence lower scores.
Personalised Guide
PinPoint recognise that every golfer has a unique swing and therefore the data produced in each shot is different for each and every golfer. As spin rates, launch angles and ball speed change so does the impact the wind will have on each shot vary. Whilst the Elite Guide gives an excellent generic solution we recognise that many golfers will wish to have a wind guide specific to their own swing.
PinPoint have developed the opportunity for you to have your own personalised guide. By providing your own swing/ball striking statistics, PinPoint will process this data through their algorithms and produce your very own personalised wind guide that shows the impact the wind has on your ball flight. This will give you the most detailed data possibly imaginable and help improve your proximity to the hole.
Furthermore, should you wish to have one guide for full swings, a second for half swings and the third for punch shots, this too is possible and will allow you to be able to mage your way around a windy golf course with complete confidence in your distances.
